Lisa Torske nace en 1982 en Quito Ecuador. Desde muy temprana edad mostró su habilidad y pasión por la pintura. Con solo 14 años de edad es invitada a hacer una exposición individual ” De sueños y colores”. En 1998 hace su segunda exhibición a beneficio de la Cruz Roja Ecuatoriana.

En el año 2001 ingresa a estudiar Diseño Gráfico en el Instituo Metropolitano de Diseño en Quito.

En 2004 es invitada a producir su primera exhibición individual internacional en La Maison Mosaique de Etherbecks, Bruselas-Bélgica.

En 2005 inicia sus estudios formales en Artes en New World School of the arts de la Universidad de Florida.  En esta Universidad se hace acreedora a 5 becas: The Frances Wolfson Art Scolarship, New World of the Arts Scholarship, I turned Grant Scholarship, R. Kirkham and Houseman Scholarship y Rising Stars Scholarship.

Durante sus años de estudio en Estados Unidos fue invitada a participar en exhibiciones importantes com Rising Stars, Art Basel Miami, Latin American Art auction, International Kids Fund Sagamore Hotel. Arte americas exhibition, Marks and Strokes Exhibition, The art of women Women Historic Gallery, MTVs teenage clicks exhibition (México, Brazil y Argentina), Arte Americas Exhibition y BFA show CIFO Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation.

En 2009 recibió su BFA de New World Schools of Arts con honores Summa cum laude y además fue la mejor graduada de la Universidad de Florida. (Valedictorian)

En 2009 cambia su residencia en Quito Ecuador.  Desde 2010 participa en varias publicaciones editoriales con ilustraciones para cuentos e ilustraciones para editoriales nacionales e internacionales. En 2013 y 2014 inicia 2 de sus proyectos personales “Sacha Runas” y “Holy Mothers”.

En los últimos años dedica gran parte de su talento a la producción de retratos personalizados bajo pedido y a la ilustración infantil editorial. El proyecto “Holy Mothers” se encuentra en etapa final de producción.

Lisa Torske was born in 1982 in Quito, Ecuador. From an early age, she had a passion for painting. When she was only 14, she was invited to do an individual exposition, “Of Dreams and Colors’” In 1998, her second exhibition was a benefit for the Ecuadorian Red Cross.

She began studying graphic design in 2001 at the Metropolitan Design Institute in Quito.

In 2004 she was invited to exhibit individually on an international level at the Etherbecks Maison Mosaique, Brussels, Belgium.

In 2005 she began her formal studies at the New World School of the Arts at the University of Florida. Over time, she received five scholarships there: the Frances Wolfson Art Scholarship, the New World of the Arts Scholarship, I turned Grant Scholarship, R. Kirkham and Houseman Scholarship and the Rising Stars Scholarship.

While she was studying in the United States, she was invited to participate in such important exhibitions as Rising Stars, Art Basel Miami, the Latin American Art Auction, Marks and Strokes Exhibition (Mexico, Brazil and Argentina), American Arts Exhibition and the BFA Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation CIGO art exhibition.

In 2009, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the New World School of the Arts; she was the valedictorian for the University of Florida for that year.

In 2009, Lisa returned to Quito, Ecuador. Since 2010, she has participated in several illustrated storybooks published nationally and internationally. In 2013 and 2014 she initiated two personal projects, “Saccha Runas” and “Holly Mothers”.

Lately she has dedicated the majority of her talent to personalized portraits on request as well as books for infants. Her project, “Holly Mothers”, is in its final stage of production.
